- Diagnosis
- Trilete spore, amb subtriangular. Laesurae extending at least onehalf
the distance to the apices; laesurae simple, straight slits, no margo visible.
Exine thick (2-4 um) single layered, ornamented on distal and proximal
surfaces with broad, low verrucae, approximately 5 um in length, 1-1.5 um
high, and often merging with one another; ornament less pronounced on
proximal surface. In top view, the verrucae are polygonally shaped and often
elongate, giving the exine a reticulate appearance. Dimensions: Equatorial diameter: 41-53 um.
