- Diagnosis
- Grains ellipsoidal, comprising an
almost smooth central body encased in a
banded exterior. Exinal bands alternate with
narrow (harmomegathic?) furrows. Reticulate
or foveo-reticulate, perforate, tectum and columellate
stratum, fused with footlayer, form
14(±1) bands. The furrows devoid of any
sexinal sculpture or may be scabrate along the
widened mid-region and are
straight to distinctly twisted around the longitudinal
axis toward the two points of convergence.
Rotated symmetry very rare or absent.
