Diagnosis
Subcircular, cavate (saccate sensu Sukh Dev) palynomorph: corpus subcircular. A minute, simple trilete mark is present on the endexine, the individual rays rarely exceeding 3 ~m in length. A faint raised ektexinal trilete mark, caused by the intersection of the contact faces, extends to the periphery. Except for these laesural ridges, which are faintly punctate, the ektexine is composed of closely appressed sinuous plications. In polar view, these sculptural elements give the ektexine a rugulate appearance, with reduced ornament on the distal pole. Dimensions: Equatorial diameter (8 specimens) 34-41 um.
