Diagnosis
Microspore trilete, triangular, angles rounded, sides convex. Laesurae long, reaching to the cingulum, commissures narrowly flanked, becoming narrower towards the end, slightly raised and smooth, covered with a layer 1.6-2 um thick, forming a ring along the cingulum. Cingulate, cingulum 5-6 um; exine c. 0.5 um thick, smooth both proximally and distally.
