- Cells undifferentiated, rectanguloid, polygonal to variously shaped, arranged irregularly, 7.5-15 x 5-15 ym in size; anticlinal walls sinuous, pitted, 0.5 um wide, surface walls smooth; stomata rounded, apparently anomocytic, superficial, 12.5-20 x 15 um in size, irregular in distibution and orientation, guard cells semilunar with stomatal ledges, 12.5-20 x 5 um in size, stomatal slit almost circular, wide open, 7.5-10 x 5-7.5 um in size, subsidiary cells form a rim around each stoma, stomatal index varying from 9 to 11.
