- Diagnosis
- Seed small, bitegmic, elongated, laterally compressed, 12.5 x 6.0 x 3.5 mm in size. Testa with single layered epidermis, hypodermis and 5-8 layered longitudinal, oblique and transverse fibres. Tegmen two celled thick. Ruminations many formed by tegmenand inner layers of testa; equal in dimensions without vasculature. Endosperm cells thick-walled, pitted.
