- Diagnosis
- Alete bisaccate pollen grain, outline diploxylonoid; corpus circular, corpus exine thin, two-layered, finely infrareticulate. Sacci semi-circular, smaller than corpus and coarsely infrareticulate; distally pendent, proximal attachment equatorial, saccus bases distinct. Cappula broad, occasionally with a faintly developed circular leptoma.
