- Diagnosis
- Cornucavate, peridiniacean dinoflagellate cyst with one apical horn, one well-developed left-antapical and one reduced righy-antapical. Three or four phragms arc present. The first and third layers are observed by fragments in apical and antapical parts. The second layer forms an external body and has thin wrinkled ornamenta tion. The fourth layer forms the internal body repeating the form of external layer. Paracingulum marked by thin sup parallel ridges and folds. Paratabulation indicated by paracingulum only. The operculum usually remains attached.
