- Diagnosis
- Seed cuticle ‘elliptic’ in shape; wall cells distinct and pronounced, square or rectangular in shape and occasionally elongate perpendicular to the long axis. Wall cells thick, enclosing lumina, compact at chlazal end (apex) and at the base where a short stalk may or may not be present.
