Palynomorph free, pentamerous in equatorial outline, bilaterally symmetrical with respect to an imaginary equatorial plane, radially symmetrical about polar axis; five vaulted buttress-like structures terminally attached at more or less equally spaced angles along the periphery of each of two parallel pentagonal polar plates, thus connecting these plates.
