- Vessels solitary and in radial multiples; pores medium-diameter; pores
few; perforation plates exclusively simple; intervascular pits alternate, vessel longitudinal parenchyma pits similar to intervascular pits. Rays 1-3 cells wide, and predominantly homocellular of procumbent cells. Parenchyma scanty paratracheal and apotracheal in widely spaced, narrow bands.
