- Diagnosis
- Fruit dicotyledonous indehiscent drupe, trilocular with two fertile locules and one sterile locule. All the three locules separated by means of three septa. Pericarp differentiated into epicarp, mesocarp & hard endocarp hence indehisent drupe. Fertile locules incorporates single prominent seed and sterile locule provide buoyancy to the fruit. Inside the seed well preserved dicoty embryo.
