- Diagnosis
- Terminal sporangium containing a discoidal mass of trilete monads,±tetrads, enveloped by a single, non-cellular cuticular layer. Spores proximally smooth, with simple triradiate apertural folds, ± interradial papillae and ± further radial folds. Distal surfaces sculptured with microapiculate to microgranulate elements or laevigate. Exospore bilayered.
