Diagnosis
Pinna lanceolate, tapering toward the apex; Apex acute; Margin entire; Venation parallel, veins closely spaced, more than twenty veins close to leaflet apex; Lamina hypostomatic; Stomata cyclocytic, in narrow bands of two to three ill-defined rows of stomata. Stomata arranged predominantly parallel, but often oblique or perpendicular to the long axis of the leaflet; Stomata isodiametric; Guard cells sunken surrounded by four to seven subsidiary cells; Abaxial ordinary epidermal cells parallel, elongated, in costal areas more elongated, anticlinals convex, non-angular; Adaxial ordinary epidermal cells parallel, elongated, linear, convex, non-angular with rounded corners; Rare one-celled trichome bases on both epidermis.
