- Samaras elongated elliptic, 35–
41 mm long, 6–11 mm wide. Apex and base
acute. A single seed situated asymmetrically in
the medial part of the fruit about 5 mm nearer
to the base. Shape of the seed ranges from
roundish to narrow ovate, usually wide ovate.
Diameter of seeds variable, usually 7 × 5, 6 × 5
mm. Samara slightly emarginate on one side
near the seed. Venation consists of a strong
vein running along the margin from the base
up to the seed, and several thinner, more or
less parallel veins starting from the seed and
running towards the apex and base.
