Diagnosis
Fruit is a unilocular capsule, obovate, measuring 2.5–3 mm in width. Fruit wall 70–81 μm thick, differentiated into epicarp, mesocarp and endocarp. Epicarp 10 μm thick, one layered of thin walled parenchymatous cells; mesocarp fleshy; endocarp 48–56 μm thick, 3–7 cells layered, polygonal, radially arranged thin walled cells. Free central placentation, seed attached with funicle, total 18 seeds, presence of hilum. Each seed wall measuring 21 μm in size. Seed coat differentiated into two layers, bitegmic. Endospermic nucleus, dicot embryo, hypostase at chalazal end.
