Diagnosis
Leaves simple, varying in length from 6 to 7 cm and in breadth from 3 to 4 cm; obovate, ovate or elliptic, apex attenuate, base acute deccurent, petiole 1.5 cm long, margin serrate. Teeth originate at 1.0-1.5 cm above base, acute, small, 4-6 percm, serration type B3 or C3 sinuses angular. Venation craspedodromous, primary vein straight; secondary veins alternate, 16-17 per leaf, at the lower part of leaf curved, at upper part straight. The lowest two or three pairs of secondary veins situated closer to each other than upper pairs and attached to midrib at nearly right angle; angle of divergence at midpoint 45-55 degrees and at apex 35-45 degrees; secondaries provided with 1-3 branches, most secondaries terminating at the margin, but some of them at the lower part of leaves has two branches one of these terminating at the margin, but the other joining the superadjacent secondary. Tertiaries parallel or sub-parallel, straight, at right angles to the secondaries, 7-8 per cm, percurrent; between base and first pair of secondaries often joined together in a series of arches. Quaternary veins forming polygonal areoles.
