- Diagnosis
- Leaves palmate, 3-5 lobate, central lobe wide, more or less long, lateral lobes short; lobal apices acuminate, rarely acute, base cordate, margin double dentate to lobate-dentate, petiole more than half of leaves length; venation palmate, predominantly with 5 primaries, craspedodromous. Angles between inner primaries - 45-60°, angles between central and external primaries - more than 90°, sometimes 100-110°; lobal sinal bracing is formed by the merging of external branches from a medial secondary vein and apical branches from lateral primaries (type A [Wolfe, Tanai, 1987]). Secondary veins in 5-7 pairs, subparallel, ending in teeth, tertiaries predominantly convex to margin, form scalariform anastomoses.
