- Diagnosis
- Uniseriate, unbranched chains of minute, nearly equidimensional cells, 0.2 to' 0.3 tam wide (12 filaments measured). Chains up to or exceeding 100 /am long, irregularly curved, not straight, occasionally in tangled masses. Cells often indistinct, so that filaments have non-septate appearance over large portions of their lengths.
