- Diagnosis
- Leaves simple, entire, from medium
to large, the length to width ratio typically 2 : 1. Leaf
lamina elliptical or ovate, symmetric. Leaf base cuneate, decurrent. Leaf apex acute or slightly rounded.
Leaf margin undulate-crenate or undulate with rare
small asymmetrical triangular teeth. Venation pinnate
craspedodromous or semicraspedodromous. Secondary
veins 7–12 pairs. Angle between secondary veins and
the midvein about 50°. Lower two or three pairs of secondary vein short and thin, arranged close to each other.
Tertiary venation sparse, branching scalariform.
