- Diagnosis
- Leaves simple, small, 18—37 mm in length, 20—36 mm in width, broadly ovate or ovate in
outline, usually broader than long, with cordate base and triangular apex with rounded or obtuse tip. Margin
entire in the base and undulate or dentate in the upper part of the lamina. Teeth rare, low, rounded. Venation
craspedodromous, varying from pinnate-palmate to pinnate. The middle vein straight, thin; secondary
veins straight or slightly curved. The two lower pairs of secondary veins are closely spaced and can be
jointed in different ways. Basal veins diverge from the middle vein at an angle about 45° and have 3—4 branches
from the lower side diverging also at an angle about 45°. Lower branches diverge sometimes from the middle vein
separately and form additional pair of subbasal veins. The second pair of secondary veins has 1—2 branches
in the distal part. Tertiary veins distinct, scalariform, curved, partly forked.
