Diagnosis
Endocarps obovoid to ellipsoid, 4–7.5mmlong, 1.8–3 mm wide, sometimes thickened toward base and occasionally bent near base or apex. Apical pit shallow, rounded, nearly as wide as full diameter of endocarp, with a single pore, ca. 1 mm wide. Some specimens substantially bent with a blunt base (fig. 8C; possibly the result of an abortive seed); others straight. Base usually tapers to a minor point (fig. 8D). Stones possess ca. 14 or 15 faint, even, rounded, longitudinal ridges ca. 0.3 mm wide. Basal pit ca. 0.5 mm in diameter. Stone wall ca. 0.3 mm thick.
