- Pith small, solid and homocellular. Primary xylem endarch.
Homoxylic secondary xylem, without growth rings. Araucarian radial
pitting, uniseriate. Xylem rays uniseriate, short (1–3 cells high).
Araucarioid cross-fields showing up to eight small and unordered
oculipores. Tangential pitting on the tracheids present.
