- Diagnosis
- Magnolialean fructification constituted of numerous (ca. 170) follicles
with short stalks on a slightly convex receptacle with a short peduncle. Male components are unknown. Follicles arranged in 13 clockwise and 21 counterclockwise parastichies. Follicles rhombic with rounded corners in cross-section and falcate in radial longitudinal section; conduplicate with the adaxial opening. Three major Vasculatures to each follicle; One dorsal and a pair of γentral strands. Lateral bundles visible in each lateral wall of follicles.
