- Diagnosis
- Male reproductive organs form monopinnate fertile fronds without leaf lamina, with lateral extensions bearing last order fertile segments. These fertile segments have clusters of microsporangiate polliniferous organs consisting of microsporangia. Microsporangia are fusiform with acute apices forming lax radial aggregations of three to five sporangia. Prepollen preserved in situ are of Plicatipollenites-type.
