- Diagnosis
- Fruit small dicotyledonous drupaceous, indehiscent and somewhat trianglular in shape. It is subglobose, ovoid with pyrene with the single seed. Air space is present at the centre of mesocarp. The pericarp divided into three zones. Outer epicarp, middle mesocarp and inner endocarp. The seed is solitary and unitegmic. The seed coat consisting of testa and tegmen.
