- Eocercidiphyllites glandulosus
- Diagnosis
- Leaves medium-sized (holotype 75 mm long), long petiolate,
of variable shape and dimensions, typically cordate, less
frequently reniform, ovate, elliptical or deltoid. Margin serrate with conical, forwardly inclined, slightly reflexed, prominently glandular
teeth. Venation palmato-pinnate acrodromous with basiscopically
branched basal laterals, the stronger branches running into the teeth.
Tertiary venation angular scalariform in the intercostals areas, looping
before the margin. Fine venation discernible to 5th order, forming
polygonal areoles.
