- Diagnosis
- Microsporophyll attached to cone axis by stalk
orientated perpendicularly both to microsporophyll shield and
cone axis. Microsporophyll shields rhombic, with marginal
curvatures and rare small marginal spines. Microsporangial shield
and stalk of equal length. Ca. 150 microsporophylls per cone.
Microsporangia long and narrow. Pollen grains bisaccate.
